Disabled Yorkshire Pensioner Fights back at Energy Prices

They thought They had done well with a 3.5% pension rise this year, but the idea of

a 40% rise in the cost of household bills left them cold. A 40% rise is £2.60 a day,on average, by the end of the year. Anne thought to herself  “There must be something I can do that would help ourselves and others in the same boat.”  So, she grabbed herself a ‘handle’ – TheEnergyLady and started a blog on the internet

http://TheEnergyLadyUK.com/blog. to share her thoughts about energy and our environment.

Then Anne discovered something that she wouldn’t be without now.  When Anne told her friends that she was saving 15% off her electricity bills they wanted in on her discovery.  Then came the ‘electric lightbulb’ moment.  What if everyone in the Country could save even 10% by just plugging in as she has?  Well, we would help ourselves, our environment and leave our grand children a better World.

If you want tojoin Anne and her quiet revolution, take a look at her blog http://TheEnergyLadyUK.com/blog.  You can add your thoughts, link through to the site that tells you how Anne saves energy, and you can download some of her “Whacky Ways to Save Energy” for free.

Anne, The Energy Lady says “Why bother anyway and why the internet?”  “I bother because I care and started a blog and a website because I can.”

“What I can’t do is anything physically demanding because of osteoarthritis and my husband is blind.” “So home work it had to be.”

There, you have it!
