Popcorn Lung - no joke- is an illness suffered by workers in popcorn factories ‘over the pond’. This illness has been known for years but until now ignored by manufacturers and governments alike - until now. Just like Global Warming, the ‘powers that be’ don’t start to do anything until it hits their wallets.
Now someone who doesn’t work in a popcorn factory has received a ‘popcorn lung’ diagnosis. This seems to have been caused by a chemical used in the buttery substance used to coat the popcorn.

So, what will management do? Use real butter? Some hope, looks like they’re looking for another chemical to use instead!
