The Energy Lady
Save Energy Now. Tomorrow May Be Too Late. Think Global, Act Local

With years came the destruction of many valuable resources. Nowadays the world is faced with the biggest problem; lack of resources to carry out even the most mundane duties of a person’s day to day life. This shortage of fuel, water and other necessary resources has raised issues in many countries. Today, the usage of alternative power sources has become important than never before.

Countries that supply oil are aware of these shortages and therefore increase their prices annually. The more we lose the more problems we’re faced with. Many governments are ready to go ahead with alternative power sources, simply because of the high costs in the already lacking resources.

Shortages in oil and other natural resources is not something that was identified recently. It was actually first experienced in the 70′s by people in the U.S. who had to wait in long queues to fill up their cars with fuel. The gas supply was not enough to provide to all the households in the U.S.. The great U.S. was faced with a big problem. This resulted in the search for alternative energy sources.

Many have come forward in their search for alternative energy sources and have provided information that there are alternative power sources that can be used at a lower cost. Nontheless, each and every human being knows that the resources we use today come with heavy price tags.

The usage of wind (wind generator plans), water (hydropower) and sun (solar power) are the main components in the number of alternative power sources found in the present day. It’s been experimented and proved that geothermal power; hydropower or even solar power can be used in the producing electricity.

Although there are several alternative energy sources that can be used, one must know that not everyone can use the sources the way they want. For example, a person who lives in a geographic area that has less wind cannot make use of the wind as a means to turn their turbines to produce electricity.

The same goes for folks living in areas with less exposure to the sun. Alternative power sources like solar power can’t be used in those locations. This means that not every geographic location can be used for the production of electricity.
