We had to arrive really early that meant leaving home at two o clock inside the morning . The theme for the flowers was to be really like and romance and also the colour scheme pink and white
Beautiful exotic flowers had been imported from all over the world , it was like opening Pandora’s box , large oriental Asiatic and cala lilies , cymbidium and dendrobium orchids roses and Gerber’s were used within the huge pedestal arrangements whilst freesia had been utilized in the table posies. Garden trellis had been erected to generate separate smaller areas to make the setting a lot more romantic. Hours had been spent pinning cut ivy and rusks to the trellis to give the appearance of creeping vines. Cut flowers have been then attached for the foliage, we used carnations as hardy flowers that would not wilt out of water.
Whilst we worked we had been entertained by the celebrities rehearsing their routines.It mad us really feel really special listening to Elaine Page singing her hits from Evita and Bonny Langford dancing with Lionel Blair and his sister. They even took the time to come above and admire our work.

As a finishing romantic gesture a number of pairs of love birds had been hung in gorgeous white cages close to the marque. Unfortunately one cage was dropped as well as the door sprung open realising one adore bird into the marque. It flew around a couple times whilst we all gave chase. 1 florist came close to catching it but it managed to locate a gap under the canvass and was lost. We all felt extremely upset and sorry for your a single bird left on its personal. A choice was made to release the remaining bird into the square so that they could possibly be together.
