Estimates of sea-level rise are out of date, scientists say, with the Ilulissat Glacier, for example, flowing into the sea THREE TIMES FASTER than it was TEN YEARS AGO.

“Just this one glacier puts enough fresh water into the sea in one year to provide drinking water for a city the size of London for a year” said Robert Corell, chairman of the Arctic Climate Impact Assessment.
